WL20 Lanthanum Tungsten Electrode for TIG Welding

The lanthanum tungsten electrode has the closest performance to the 2% thorium tungsten electrode. It can replace the thorium tungsten electrode without changing the welding procedure during the electric welding process, and is not harmed by the radiation of the thorium tungsten electrode.
Lanthanum tungsten electrode has high durability current and low burning loss rate. When used in small and medium current, the arc performance and burning resistance performance are better than thorium tungsten electrode. Lanthanum tungsten electrode is already the most popular electrode material in the world, especially the 1.5% lanthanum tungsten electrode has the conductivity performance closest to the 2.0% tungsten thorium electrode. Lanthanum tungsten electrode is mainly used for DC welding, and it can also be used under AC conditions and performs well. If there is no overload current, the lanthanum tungsten electrode has a longer life than thorium tungsten, and it is easier to start arcing in most applications. Especially good at preventing thermal shock. In the case of repeated ignition during short-cycle welding, the welding is good to avoid contamination.
